Camille-Alban Spreng Pianist

career

Camille-Alban Spreng is a pianist and composer living in Brussels, trained by Emil Spanyi (HEMU, Lausanne), Eric Legnini and Kris Defoort (KCB, CRB, Brussels).

He's leader of the multiform band ODIL with Sam Comerford, Geoffrey Fiorese, Tom Bourgeois, and Paul Berne, quintet Mobilhome with Vitja Pauwels, Lennart Heyndels, Sam Comerford and Théo Lanau and trio Dear Uncle Lennie with Benjamin Sauzereau and Marco Giongrandi. He’s currently playing as a sideman in Jordi Cassagne's band Limite.

Camille-Alban is also writing music for theater and performance. He worked with stage directors and performers Adrien Barazzone, Nathalie Rozanes, Sébastien Corbière, Claire Deutsch, Julien Rombaux.

Camille-Alban is also the co-organizer of the Pool Sessions, a series of concerts in Brussels. With Théo Lanau and Hélène Duret, they have hosted between 2018 and 2021 artists such as Chris Speed, Pak Yan Lau, Richard Compte, Csaba Palotaï, Jeroen Van Herzeele, Lynn Cassiers, Farida Amadou, Eric Thielemans, Jozef Dumoulin...
